Lewis Hamilton put Ferrari on pole in Mexico City, and it has been a long time coming. The seven-time champion delivered a qualifying lap at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez that had Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur calling it a fantastic job, and according to reporting from The Race, the breakthrough came not from any dramatic aero upgrade but from a quieter, more methodical shift in how the team approached setup and execution on Saturday.
From Formula One to the hardwood, the Cleveland Cavaliers picked up their first road win of the season against Milwaukee, and it was a dominant one. Evan Mobley dropped a season-high twenty seven points while Jarrett Allen added twenty five points and eleven rebounds, as the Cavs rolled to a one hundred thirty six to one hundred eleven blowout that sends a real message about where this team is headed.
And in college football, Texas got one of the more memorable plays of the weekend from an unlikely source. Nose tackle Maraad Watson, one of the heaviest players on the Longhorns roster, scooped up a fumble and rumbled into the end zone in the first half against Mississippi State, turning a defensive moment into an absolute highlight.
