In Los Angeles, the Dodgers are in serious trouble. Milwaukee came into Chavez Ravine and did it again, putting up seven runs on twelve hits to take Game two four to seven and grab a two-nothing series lead. The Brewers hammered the bullpen late, scoring four times in the final four innings, and now the Dodgers face a must-win situation on their home turf.
Meanwhile in San Diego, Jim Harbaugh is standing firm. The Chargers dropped to zero and five for the first time since two thousand three, and Harbaugh made it clear Monday that he and ownership are locked in together, calling it shoulder to shoulder. Justin Herbert has been struggling badly, and Harbaugh pointed to what he called desperation time football as the root of the problem. It is a long road back.
And on Monday Night Football, Buffalo took a thirteen to seven lead over Los Angeles at the half. James Cook punched it in for the Bills, and Josh Allen and company are controlling the tempo. The Rams have shown some fight, but right now Buffalo owns the second half and the momentum heading into the locker room.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
