College football's Holy War is on today, and the stakes could not be higher. The seven and one BYU Cougars roll into Salt Lake City to face the undefeated Utah Utes in a Big Twelve showdown that has serious College Football Playoff implications. Texas Tech is lurking at the top of the conference, so whoever walks out of Utah with a win tonight is firmly in the driver's seat.
Shifting to Formula One, Charles Leclerc is not hiding his frustration ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver says the SF twenty six is bleeding time on the straights and giving him one of the worst feelings he's had in the corners. Lewis Hamilton was sixth fastest in Free Practice Two, Leclerc seventh, both well off the pace set by Kimi Antonelli in the Mercedes. Ferrari has work to do this weekend.
And in cricket, the Sandpapergate scandal is back in the headlines. Usman Khawaja's upcoming autobiography claims the ball tampering discussions in twenty eighteen were far more widespread within the Australian camp than the official story suggested. Former England captain Michael Vaughan responded with a very blunt "no surprise there," and frankly, most of the cricket world seems to agree.
