You're tuned in to Sports Desk, let's get you caught up.
Drew Rasmussen takes the mound tonight for Tampa Bay on just three days' rest, and the weight of a season sits squarely on his right arm. The Rays are staring down elimination in Game five of the World Series against Milwaukee, and manager Kevin Cash is rolling the dice on his ace to keep the dream alive.
Meanwhile in Atlanta, the Dream fever is real and the merchandise can't keep up with it. Sporting goods stores across the city are selling out of Atlanta Dream gear as fast as they can stock the shelves, with fans pouring in ahead of what could be a championship-clinching Game six. The franchise is one win away from its first WNBA title, and this city is ready.
And over in the Women's Champions League, Arsenal's Alessia Russo is making a habit of finding the back of the net. She scored again as the Gunners built a lead over Benfica, while Chelsea stayed perfect under Sonia Bompastor with goals from Buchanan and Carpenter putting Roma away. European women's football is delivering and then some right now.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
