The New York Jets are in freefall, and Aaron Glenn's seat couldn't be hotter. Miami handed the Jets their latest gut punch in Week seven, a twenty-eight to twenty-five Dolphins win that snapped Jeff Hafley's winless streak to open two thousand twenty-six. Glenn addressed the media afterward, saying he's disappointed in himself but believes the team is still headed somewhere. The fanbase may not share that confidence much longer.
Speaking of New York football, the Giants had a much better Sunday. Devin Singletary took a handoff thirty yards to the house in overtime, beating his former Houston Texans squad and lifting New York to a twenty-seven to twenty-one road victory. Singletary looked every bit like a man with something to prove, and he proved it emphatically on that final carry when it mattered most.
And over in college football, Arizona is bowl-eligible after dismantling Iowa State thirty-nine to three. The Wildcats move to six and one on the season, with Pro Football Focus handing them an overall grade of seventy-four point one. The offensive line was the standout unit, earning a pass-blocking grade of seventy-nine point three. Arizona looks like a legitimate Big Twelve contender right now.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
