Aaron Rodgers made history on a Sunday that belonged to the ages — and he did it in Paris. The veteran quarterback threw a touchdown pass in Pittsburgh's sixteen to ten victory over New Orleans, moving him alone into third place on the NFL's all-time career touchdown list. The first regular-season NFL game ever played on French soil, and Rodgers wrote himself into it permanently.
Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson's struggles in Cleveland are becoming impossible to ignore. The Titans capitalized on a Watson interception, and Tony Pollard punched in his second touchdown of the day to put Tennessee up fourteen to nothing. Watson has now been picked off, and the Titans are making him pay for every mistake with points on the board.
And Baker Mayfield is back. The Buccaneers quarterback returned from a broken right thumb and wasted absolutely no time — driving Tampa Bay seventy yards on the opening possession, capping it with a Bucky Irving four-yard score. Mayfield went two for four on that first drive, but the result is what matters: the Bucs lead Carolina seven to nothing and their offense has its engine back.
