You're tuned in to Sports Desk, let's get after it.
In Philadelphia, the Sixers pulled off something that almost defies belief. Tyrese Maxey dropped thirty-two points and led Philadelphia all the way back from twenty-nine down to stun the Cavaliers one hundred fourteen to one hundred six. That is a comeback for the ages, and Maxey was the engine driving every bit of it.
Up in Toronto, the Maple Leafs found a way to survive a thriller against the Rangers. Troy Stecher fired home the winner with just twenty-eight seconds left on the clock, giving Toronto the five to four edge. The Leafs had to grind for every inch of that one, and Stecher delivered when the margin for error had essentially disappeared.
And out in St. Louis, Justin Barron had himself an absolute night. A goal and three assists as the Blues dismantled the Vegas Golden Knights six to two. Dylan Holloway chipped in two goals and an assist, Joel Hofer was solid between the pipes with twenty-seven saves, and St. Louis is now three and zero and one at home this season. The Blues are building something real at Enterprise Center.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
