Brady Tkachuk walked back into Ottawa Wednesday night and did exactly what you'd expect from a man who thrives on chaos. The crowd booed, he egged them on, and then he scored. Classic Tkachuk, turning enemy territory into a personal highlight reel in front of the very fans who watched him grow up.
Shifting to the NFL, David Montgomery did not practice Wednesday, and that's a bad sign for anyone hoping to see the Houston Texans running back suit up this weekend. He's been out since Week five with a groin injury, and right now Woody Marks is the name to circle if you're managing a fantasy roster or just trying to understand Houston's backfield going forward.
And in the Big Ten, the conference race is genuinely wide open heading into Indiana and Michigan this weekend. Ohio State lost Julian Sayin for weeks, Michigan survived Penn State to stay relevant, and Indiana nearly pulled off the upset of the year. With Oregon underwhelming and Penn State fading, somebody unexpected might just run the table here.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
