The Angels are making a change at the top after a brutal campaign in Anaheim. Kurt Suzuki is out as manager following just one season, with the club dropping one hundred games for the first time in franchise history. It's a painful milestone, and ownership clearly decided they'd seen enough.
Shifting to the college sidelines, Maryland has parted ways with Mike Locksley after seven full seasons in College Park. The Terrapins are now in full search mode, looking for a coach who can capitalize on some legitimate roster talent already in place. It's a significant hire for a program trying to assert itself in a brutally competitive Big Ten landscape.
And in Cleveland, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is keeping his cards close to the chest when asked about ongoing talks with general manager Andrew Berry. His role has shrunk this season, and the trade buzz around him is getting louder by the day, even as he's flashed in key moments. Whether he finishes the year as a Brown is very much an open question.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
