The ALCS is all tied up after Tampa Bay handed Cleveland a painful Game four loss, seven to three. Chase DeLauter's error in right field cracked open the seventh inning and the Rays walked right through it. Series is deadlocked at two apiece, and the pressure just shifted hard to the Guardians.
Meanwhile in college football, Miami is sitting at number three for a reason. Darian Mensah threw for three hundred twenty six yards and three touchdowns as the Hurricanes survived two Hail Mary attempts and outlasted Florida State forty three to thirty five in double overtime. The rivalry is alive, but right now it belongs to Miami.
And the quarterback situation in Austin is getting uncomfortable fast. Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is openly evaluating his options at quarterback after Arch Manning went fourteen for twenty for one hundred seventy three yards, took five sacks, lost a fumble, and finished with a QBR around twenty in a twenty seven to twenty four loss to Florida. Manning's ceiling remains enormous, but the floor just showed up in a big way.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
