You're locked in to Sports Desk, let's get into it.
In Atlanta, the Falcons are getting their quarterback back at the right time. Michael Penix Junior has been fully cleared to play Sunday against the Bears after leaving last week's game with bruised ribs. Atlanta will take that news and run with it heading into what figures to be a critical matchup.
Meanwhile in Baltimore, the Ravens are rolling the dice at quarterback for the second straight week. Lamar Jackson has been ruled out again, and Tyler Huntley gets the call in Cleveland on Sunday. The Browns aren't exactly lighting the league on fire, but asking Huntley to step in on the road is no small ask for a Ravens team trying to stay afloat.
And in Kansas City, the Chiefs are absorbing a hit of their own before facing the Chargers in week six. Rashee Rice, their number one receiver, is out for the matchup against a Los Angeles team that is winless through five games. Kansas City should still have the edge, but losing your top wideout is never the pregame headline you want.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
