Lamar Jackson sat out practice Wednesday with that nagging ankle injury, and head coach Jesse Minter is keeping it vague, listing his quarterback day-to-day. For a Ravens team with real AFC ambitions, every rep Jackson misses matters, and the clock is ticking toward the weekend.
Shifting to Pittsburgh, Aaron Rodgers is quietly putting together the best non-Packers season of his career, and the numbers back it up. The Steelers aren't setting the league on fire as a team, but Rodgers is threading the needle week after week, reminding everyone that when he's locked in, he's still among the most dangerous quarterbacks breathing.
And over in Paris, the NFL is pressing forward with Steelers-Saints despite ongoing local unrest in the city. The league isn't blinking, insisting the game goes ahead as scheduled. It's a bold call, and all eyes will be on how that situation develops between now and kickoff across the Atlantic.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
