Max Verstappen finally conquered Singapore, taking victory at the two thousand twenty six Grand Prix around Marina Bay ahead of Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli. It's a circuit that had haunted Red Bull for years, and Verstappen made it look inevitable, cementing what's shaping up to be a serious title resurgence.
The darker story out of Singapore belongs to Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time champion has taken full responsibility for staying out under the Virtual Safety Car rather than pitting, a call that cost him dearly and dropped him back to sixth. He called it a painful lesson, and Ferrari isn't entirely off the hook either — the team is facing hard questions about whether they should have stepped in and managed that situation before it unravelled.
Shifting stateside, there's real concern out of the Jets and Browns matchup after receiver KC Concepcion was ruled out following an illegal hit from safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick picked up two personal fouls on the same drive, including ripping Concepcion's helmet off. The twenty two year old eventually made it to the locker room under his own power, but it's a situation the league will need to address.
