The WNBA playoffs are delivering, and Atlanta is the story. The Dream swept the Washington Mystics with a dominant ninety-three to seventy-five win in Game Two, punching their ticket to the semifinals for the first time since two thousand eighteen. This team is playing with real urgency, and the East is officially on notice.
Shifting to the NFL, Bijan Robinson is making his case loud and clear. The Atlanta Falcons running back went off for a hundred and ninety-four rushing yards in a thirty-five to fourteen dismantling of Green Bay at Lambeau Field in Week Three. With Michael Penix Junior now in the fold throwing for two fifty-six, this offense has a new dimension, but Robinson remains the engine driving everything.
And speaking of engines, Nick Saban is drawing fire after publicly backing the Protect College Sports Act, which would cap player NIL earnings. The backlash is pointed and fair — coaches operate in a completely free market while the people generating the revenue would face artificial limits. Saban's legacy is enormous, but this stance is putting him on the wrong side of a very important conversation.
