Welcome to Markets Desk, your midday read on what's moving.
Nvidia is writing some very large checks. Jensen Huang's chip giant announced it will commit eighteen billion dollars in equity investments through the rest of fiscal twenty twenty seven, extending an August deal spree that stretched across nearly every corner of the AI ecosystem. The scale of the commitment signals Nvidia sees this buildout as structural, not cyclical.
Turning to the grain pits, where the agricultural complex staged a broad rally Wednesday. Corn futures closed ten to thirteen and a half cents higher, touching fresh three-year highs on US supply concerns and spillover strength from wheat. Soybeans were even more aggressive, posting gains of twenty to twenty-eight and a half cents, with the national cash bean price settling near twelve dollars and thirty cents. Meal contracts added as much as ten dollars on the session, reinforcing the demand picture.
And in pharma, the FDA approved Revolution Medicines' Rasonque, a once-daily pill targeting RAS protein mutations that drive most pancreatic cancers and roughly a quarter of all human cancers. At a list price of thirty-nine thousand eight hundred dollars annually, the approval is drawing investor attention not just for this indication but as a proof of concept for a much broader oncology pipeline.
That's the tape. Markets Desk, signing off the floor.
