In MLS, Alhassan Yusuf put on an absolute clinic for New England, burying three goals to lead the Revolution past D.C. United three to nothing. It's the first hat trick in franchise history since Kei Kamara back in two thousand seventeen, and Jack Harrison chipped in with three assists as New England snapped a three-game winless run in emphatic fashion.
Shifting to tennis, and Tommy Paul just handed top seed Alexander Zverev one of the more stunning exits of the season. Paul saved a match point and gutted out a four six, seven six, six four victory at the Cincinnati Masters, pushing through a ninety-minute rain delay in the second set before closing it out. Zverev, the favorite to win it all, is heading home early.
And over in the NBA, the Denver Nuggets have moved on from Peyton Watson, shipping the rising young forward to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a three-team deal. Denver couldn't get a new contract done, and rather than lose him for nothing, they pulled the trigger. Cleveland adds another piece to what's already been a very aggressive offseason.
