In Philadelphia, the Eagles are embracing a full offensive reset, and the locker room is apparently all in. In Baltimore, rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins was carted off the field after tangling his feet and sustaining a left leg injury, a tough development for a young defender the Ravens had been counting on. Meanwhile in New York, Jets cornerback Qwan'tez Stiggers left joint practice with Tampa Bay in an ambulance after collapsing on the sideline. The Jets have since said he is doing good, which is the only number that matters right now, and we are certainly relieved to hear it.
On the NBA front, the Lakers and Cavaliers are reportedly the frontrunners to land a former Warriors champion who pulled down forty-six million dollars in his last deal. Both organizations have been pursuing this young talent for months, and with the season approaching fast, a decision figures to come soon.
