The two thousand twenty six NBA Finals are in full swing, and Game two between the Knicks and Spurs had all the drama you could ask for on a Friday night. Jalen Brunson dropped thirty points as New York stormed back in the second half to take a commanding series lead, and Madison Square Garden's fanbase has every reason to believe right now.
Shifting to the AL, the Texas Rangers got a massive boost ahead of their series opener against Cleveland, activating both shortstop Corey Seager and outfielder Wyatt Langford off the injured list. Seager's been nursing a back issue and Langford dealing with a forearm problem, but both are back in the lineup at exactly the right time for a Rangers club chasing ground in the standings.
And over in the National League, all eyes in west Michigan are turning toward Sunday, when Tigers ace Tarik Skubal takes the mound for a rehab start with the Whitecaps. The two-time Cy Young winner hasn't pitched since late April following elbow surgery, and word is this could be the only rehab outing he needs before rejoining Detroit's rotation. The Tigers have been waiting on this moment all summer.
