Mercedes have done it in Brazil, clinching the Constructors' Championship at Interlagos, but Toto Wolff barely had time to celebrate before looking ahead. The team principal says his mind is already fixed on two thousand twenty seven, which tells you everything about how this sport never stops moving.
Speaking of Interlagos, it was a brutal weekend for Ferrari. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton combined for just eight points between them, with both drivers calling the Sao Paulo Grand Prix horrendous. It got worse for Leclerc after the chequered flag, as stewards handed him a post-race penalty, stripping him of his seventh place finish entirely.
Over in Philadelphia, the Sixers are building something worth watching. Jaylen Brown dropped twenty nine points and Tyrese Maxey added twenty seven as Philly edged the Chicago Bulls one hundred twenty seven to one hundred twenty one. LeBron James was on the floor too, and this team is starting to look like a genuine threat in the Eastern Conference.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
