You're tuned into Sports Desk, let's get after it.
The Ravens are making a move at quarterback, acquiring Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals in a trade confirmed by both Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport. Here's the catch though — Brissett won't be eligible to play Thursday night in Week nine against the Jaguars, so Baltimore will have to handle that one without him.
Meanwhile in Seattle, the Seahawks are dealing with more quarterback trouble. Head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed Wednesday that Sam Darnold will miss the Week nine home matchup against the Arizona Cardinals after picking up an injury. Seattle has dropped three of their last four, including a brutal thirty-four to seventeen loss to Chicago on Monday night, and now they're turning to their backup to stop the bleeding.
And over in Philadelphia, the Eagles are making yet another quarterback change — this one by choice. Joe Milton the Third is set to start Sunday against the New York Giants, replacing Tanner McKee. Milton was signed off Dallas's practice squad less than a month ago and is about to become the fourth different Eagles starter this season. That's a story worth watching.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
