Draymond Green is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Monday night against Phoenix, Green earned his twenty-sixth career ejection after tackling rookie Khaman Maluach, then going after Dillon Brooks in what looked like an attempted choke. The Golden State forward continues to test the league's patience, and at some point the NBA has to ask how many times they'll let this play out.
Shifting to the trade market, Jonathan Taylor's name is heating up fast with one week left before the NFL deadline. The Indianapolis Colts have already moved Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, and now Taylor, locked in through twenty twenty-eight, could fetch serious draft capital. Multiple teams are circling, and Indianapolis appears ready to listen hard to whatever's on the table.
And one of the warmer stories you'll hear today — ESPN's Marcus Spears stepped onto the Monday Night Football set with his mind somewhere else entirely. His son, Marcus Junior, was making his college basketball debut, and the network surprised Spears with footage of the moment live on air. Spears admitted he was about to cry, and honestly, who could blame him.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
