You're tuned in to Sports Desk, let's get into it.
The undefeated nineteen seventy-two Miami Dolphins are celebrating again, and Larry Csonka is leading the charge. With the Minnesota Vikings falling this week, Miami's perfect season stands alone for another year, and that champagne cork has officially popped in South Florida. That squad never gets tired of this tradition, and honestly, why would they.
Shifting to the hardwood, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is making a serious case to be more than just last year's Offensive Player of the Year. The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver is on a pace that has people drawing lines toward Calvin Johnson and Cooper Kupp in the record books. A second straight OPOY would be remarkable. A historic receiving yards season on top of it would be something else entirely.
And in college basketball, the two thousand twenty-six twenty-seven season is taking shape fast. USC checks in at number twenty-three and UCLA lands at number twenty-one in the Field Level Media preseason Top Twenty-Five, putting two Los Angeles programs firmly inside the conversation before a single tip-off. The Pac-Twelve rebuild is real, and both programs are putting the rest of the country on notice early.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
