Jonathan Taylor's future in Indianapolis looks shakier by the hour. The Colts are deep in trade talks with at least four teams — the Broncos, Giants, Packers, and Vikings all circling the star running back. Indianapolis is reportedly seeking a haul similar to what San Francisco landed from Carolina for Christian McCaffrey — think second, third, fourth, and fifth-round picks. That's a steep price, but Taylor's talent commands it.
Shifting to the pitch, Barcelona got the job done against Alavés with a five-goal rout, but nobody's popping champagne just yet. The real measuring stick moments are coming fast — Aston Villa and Atlético Madrid loom large on the fixture list, and a comfortable league win only tells you so much about where this side truly stands heading into those heavyweight tests.
And over in Manchester, Peter Schmeichel did not hold back. The United legend went scorched earth on Lisandro Martínez after a two-nil loss to Chelsea, calling the defender solely responsible for the defeat at Stamford Bridge. Martínez was slow on the opener, then earned a second yellow and got sent off — a nightmare afternoon that's drawn serious heat from one of Old Trafford's most decorated voices.
