Josh Jacobs is facing serious scrutiny tonight. ESPN reports that following his May arrest for an altercation with his then-girlfriend, records reveal three additional women contacted police with abuse allegations against the Packers running back. This situation is deepening fast, and the NFL will have to respond.
Shifting to college football, and the SEC is giving us a genuinely strange season. South Carolina has three conference losses but is somehow still in the conversation for the College Football Playoff if it runs the table from here, including a potential win over Georgia in November. Oklahoma sits in a similar spot with three losses of their own. The committee has never rewarded chaos quite like this, but twenty twenty-five is testing every boundary we thought we knew.
Over in New York, Mike Brown isn't sugarcoating anything after the Knicks dropped one to the Sixers. The head coach pointed directly at his team's defense as the reason they lost, and when a coach calls out his own unit that bluntly after a game, you know the message is meant to land. The Knicks have the talent to be elite defensively, and Brown clearly isn't accepting anything less.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
