You're tuned in to Sports Desk, let's get into it.
Yaxel Lendeborg is not waiting for an invitation. The Golden State Warriors rookie dropped thirty-one points, twelve rebounds, and six assists in just his fourth NBA game, stunning Denver on the road and handing the Warriors their first win of the season. He told reporters afterward he's absolutely surprising himself, which honestly, so is everyone else.
Meanwhile in Milwaukee, the Brewers are one win away from their first World Series title in franchise history, but Pat Murphy is keeping the champagne on ice. With a three-nothing series lead over Tampa Bay, Murphy made clear his team is not getting comfortable, and that kind of edge from a manager can be the difference between closing it out and letting a series breathe.
And in Houston, the Rockets roll into Milwaukee on Wednesday night riding a four-game winning streak, sitting atop the Western Conference at four and zero. The Bucks are struggling at one and three, but Houston knows better than to treat any road game like a formality, especially with Giannis still in that building.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
