You're locked in to Sports Desk, let's get into it.
Jackson Chourio is doing something we haven't seen from a player this young in October in a very long time. The twenty-two-year-old Brewers leadoff man went four for four in Game three of the World Series, helping Milwaukee dismantle the Tampa Bay Rays ten to one at Tropicana Field. The Brewers are now two wins from their first championship, and Chourio is the engine driving all of it.
Meanwhile in the NFC East, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys sent a message to the rest of the division Monday night. Three touchdown passes, a thirty-eight to twenty-one final over Philadelphia, and suddenly Dallas is right back in the conversation. Prescott said the NFC East title is, quote, right in front of us, and after tonight, it's hard to argue with him.
The Eagles aren't ready to wave the white flag though. Saquon Barkley played through a back issue and was efficient when it mattered, and he says his hamstring came through the game clean. Losing Barkley for any stretch of time would be a serious blow to Philadelphia's hopes, but right now he's saying he'll be ready to go.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
