Detroit keeps rolling, and Green Bay is feeling it in more ways than one. The Lions knocked off the Packers on a walk-off field goal at Ford Field, and now Green Bay is dealing with the aftermath. Center Sean Rhyan is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain, a four to six week injury, and linebacker Zaire Franklin is nursing a hairline fracture in his leg sustained in practice. The Packers got outplayed at the line of scrimmage, struggled on special teams, and dropped a pass at a critical moment. This one stings, and the injury report makes it sting a whole lot more.
Shifting to the AFC North, Baltimore needs Lamar Jackson healthy and sharp in a hurry. The Ravens have a punishing stretch ahead with the Bills and Jaguars on deck, two games that will go a long way toward defining their season. No margin for error, no room to limp through it.
And in Week seven across the league, the injury bug did not discriminate. Giants running back Cam Skattebo suffered a leg injury during a win over Houston, Aaron Jones Senior and Tyrone Tracy Junior also went down, and teams are now waiting on evaluations to understand the full picture.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
