The college football world got rocked this weekend as UCF stunned number two BYU in double overtime, handing the Cougars their first loss of the season. Keyone Jenkins delivered the dagger, hitting Grayson Brousseau on a four-yard touchdown pass to open the second overtime, then found Tyren Hornes for the two-point conversion to seal it. One week after beating Notre Dame, BYU's top-three dreams are done.
Meanwhile, number ten Utah stayed perfect behind a monster performance from quarterback Devon Dampier, who carried the ball fifteen times for a season-high one hundred fifty yards and two touchdowns against number fourteen Houston. A twenty-one to thirteen final, and the Utes are still standing tall in what is shaping up to be a wild Big Twelve race.
And overseas, Liverpool's Premier League form is raising real questions. Arne Slot's side has poured in fifteen goals across four cup competitions this season but has managed just nine in seven league matches. The firepower is clearly there, so the inconsistency is the puzzle, and with manager pressure mounting across the division, nobody in England is taking a comfortable seat right now.
