You're tuned in to Sports Desk, let's get into it.
Joel Embiid was an absolute force Friday night, posting his tenth career triple-double as the Philadelphia seventy-sixers handled the Milwaukee Bucks one hundred twenty-seven to one sixteen. Jaylen Brown added twenty-seven points on his thirtieth birthday, and Philly stays unbeaten — a statement win even without LeBron James in the lineup.
Over in Tampa, the Rays had a four-to-nothing cushion in Game Two of the World Series and watched it evaporate by the sixth inning. Chandler Simpson let a fly ball carom off his glove for a costly error, and Junior Caminero did not hide his frustration in the dugout. Milwaukee seized the moment, and the Brewers are right back in this series.
And in the NHL, history was made in Tampa Bay. Nikita Kucherov picked up an assist on Brayden Point's power-play goal against the Utah Mammoth, giving him one thousand one hundred thirty-eight career points and pushing him past Steven Stamkos as the all-time franchise scoring leader. The Lightning legend just keeps adding to his legacy.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
