The Buffalo Bills survived another nail-biter in Week six, edging the Las Vegas Raiders thirty-three to thirty. Josh Allen continues to be the engine driving this team, but the win came with controversy — safety CJ Gardner-Johnson was ejected in the first half after a spitting incident that had the league buzzing. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady addressed it postgame, making clear the Bills won't let the distraction define their momentum heading into the back half of the season.
Shifting to the biggest shock of the weekend, the Arizona Cardinals knocked off the Los Angeles Rams eighteen to sixteen as twelve-and-a-half-point underdogs — the single biggest upset of the two thousand twenty six season so far. Now the real question hanging over the league is whether the Rams, with playoff expectations firmly on their shoulders, have the depth to course-correct before things get away from them. Los Angeles is suddenly looking very fragile.
And over in the WNBA, the Golden State Valkyries are three wins away from a championship in just their second year of existence. Kelsey Plum has been vocal about what Gabby Williams brings to this team, and the sixty-eight to sixty-four victory in their latest outing has Valkyries fans believing this is genuinely their moment.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
