You're locked in to Sports Desk, let's get right to it.
Travis Hunter delivered one of the most complete individual performances you'll see from a rookie, becoming the first player since two thousand two to record both an interception and a touchdown catch in the same game — and he did it on the international stage at Wembley, even as Jacksonville fell short in the final result.
Shifting to a story nobody wants to be talking about, Falcons linebacker Kendal Daniels was carted off the field Sunday after a frightening collision against the Bears, immobilized as a precaution following what appeared to be a neck injury. The rookie's status is unknown, and the football world is holding its breath tonight.
And in New York, the Giants finally pulled the plug on Jameis Winston, turning to rookie J.J. McCarthy in the fourth quarter with New Orleans up thirty-four to ten. Winston's second interception of the afternoon sealed his fate, and now the question in New York isn't about this season — it's about what comes next for a franchise searching for answers under center.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
