Micah Parsons to Green Bay is looking more lopsided by the day. Dallas dealt one of the premier pass rushers in football to the Packers, and a fresh re-grade of that trade has Green Bay walking away as the overwhelming winners — Cowboys fans have every right to feel the sting on that one.
Shifting to the college hardwood, Texas women's basketball hit the SEC Tipoff in Birmingham with Vic Schaefer front and center talking defense and the emergence of Breya Cunningham. Schaefer brought Madison Booker and Bryanna Preston along, and the message was clear — this program arrives with expectations and the personnel to back them up heading into a loaded SEC slate.
And out in the Big Twelve, Oklahoma State has been on an absolute offensive tear, dropping more than forty points in three straight games for the first time since two thousand eighteen. Drew Mestemaker and the Cowboys travel to Houston Saturday night on FOX at six-thirty, and if they hit forty again it's the longest such streak since the end of the two thousand eleven season — a genuine statement run building real momentum.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
