Week five of the two thousand twenty six NFL season kicks off this afternoon with the New York Giants traveling to Northwest Stadium to face the Washington Commanders at one o'clock Eastern. It's the fifth game of the John Harbaugh era in New York, and you can catch every snap live on FOX.
Shifting to college football, Oklahoma pulled off a stunning victory over Texas on Saturday night, and Skip Bayless wasted no time letting the world know about it. The longtime Longhorns critic took to social media celebrating what he called the smell of burnt orange, as the Sooners delivered a heartbreaking defeat to a Texas program that had serious championship aspirations heading into the weekend.
And in the NBA, the preseason is already generating real drama. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown faced each other as opponents for the first time after eight years as Boston teammates, and the clip of their meeting went immediately viral. Fans across the league are convinced the chemistry has curdled into something far more competitive, with reactions ranging from disbelief to full acknowledgment that these two have genuine edge toward each other now.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
