Marvin Harrison Junior's tenure in Arizona is over before it really had a chance to breathe. The Cardinals are finalizing a trade involving the young receiver, who finishes his time in the desert with one hundred eight catches and one thousand five hundred seventy eight receiving yards. The mystery destination has the league buzzing, and wherever he lands, a quarterback just got a serious weapon.
Shifting to the hardwood, Karl-Anthony Towns may have talked himself into a corner in New York. Reports indicate his public comments about extension negotiations genuinely irked Knicks owner James Dolan, and that friction appears to have played a real role in stalling those talks. When your owner stops wanting to pay you, that is a conversation you want to have behind closed doors, not in front of a microphone.
And in the Bronx tonight, it is win or go home as the White Sox and Guardians meet in a decisive Game Five, first pitch at eight o'clock Eastern on TBS. Chicago has been one of the most compelling underdog stories of this postseason, and Cleveland is not about to hand anything over. One game, everything on the line, exactly what October was built for.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
