The Arizona Cardinals are moving on from their top wide receiver before he ever really got started. Marvin Harrison Junior is being traded, with the Houston Texans emerging as the likely destination. It's a stunning development for a first-round pick who hasn't yet lived up to the draft night hype in Arizona.
Shifting to the hardwood, the Golden State Warriors locked up one of their young building blocks. Brandin Podziemski has agreed to a five-year, one hundred ten million dollar extension, a major commitment from Golden State as they try to construct their post-Curry future around emerging talent rather than chasing veterans.
And in college football, Alabama has some good news heading into a massive showdown with number two Georgia. Starting tight end Josh Ford, who had surgery on a broken arm just days ago, is expected to suit up and play. That's a significant development for a Crimson Tide offense that needs every weapon available against a Georgia defense that does not give anything away for free.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
