Nick Saban's legacy is getting the full treatment. ESPN is rolling out a six-part documentary series built on twenty hours of interviews with the Hall of Fame coach himself, pulling back the curtain on the origins of one of the most dominant coaching careers in college football history. This one is going to be appointment viewing.
Shifting to the NFL, Tampa Bay heads to Dallas tonight for Thursday Night Football on Prime Video, eight fifteen Eastern, and the stakes could not be more lopsided on paper. The Cowboys sit at two and two while the Buccaneers are winless through four games. Tampa needs something, anything, to change the narrative tonight, and Dallas is not exactly in a generous mood.
And over at the Lakers, head coach JJ Redick is making no effort to hide his enthusiasm about the roster he's working with heading into the new season. Redick spoke at length about how the team's newest additions complement Luka Doncic's game, emphasizing fit over flash in what sounds like a genuinely thoughtful approach to building around a generational talent.
