Welcome to The Light, where we pause and consider what stirs beneath the surface of the day.
In Dallas, quarterback Dak Prescott spoke after Sunday's comeback win and credited head coach Brian Schottenheimer for something quieter than a game plan — an openness about faith within the Cowboys organization. Prescott said simply, we're all here because of God, and meant it.
That spirit seems to be moving beyond the locker room. A new Barna survey of over three thousand young adults between eighteen and thirty-five found that one in three are attending church more often than they were a year ago. When asked why, they named prayer first — not community, not answers, but the act of reaching toward something beyond themselves.
And perhaps nothing captures that reach more vividly than what's happening this Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where Atlanta's twenty-eight nineteen Church has filled all eighty thousand seats for a single hour of communal prayer. No concert, no sermon series — just a stadium full of people, breathing together in the dark, proclaiming hope.
Three stories, one quiet thread running through them all — something is stirring, and people are leaning in. That's this hour's reflection. Carry the light gently.
