CeeDee Lamb put the Dallas Cowboys on his back Sunday and refused to let the season slip away. Staring down another damaging loss, Lamb delivered one of the biggest performances of his career, giving Dallas a blueprint for how this team survives going forward. The question now is whether they can build on it.
Meanwhile in Philadelphia, Nick Sirianni is owning the hurt. The Eagles had the Rams right where they wanted them, up twenty to ten at Lincoln Financial with Los Angeles running out of road. Two Stafford interceptions, two touchdown catches from Darius Cooper, and still it unraveled. Sirianni looked the cameras dead in the eye and said that's on me, pointing to a string of failed conversions and penalties that handed LA the comeback. Credit for accountability, zero credit for execution.
And down in Houston, C.J. Stroud is still searching for his first win of the year. The Texans led Dallas at halftime, controlled long stretches, and still walked out of Reliant Stadium at zero and four. Stroud's message to his team was sharp, you have to be an iPhone, always updating, because last year's résumé means nothing right now.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
