The Atlanta Falcons are making a serious investment in their defensive line. Gervon Dexter Senior is staying in Atlanta on a four-year, seventy-eight million dollar extension, with forty-six point five million guaranteed. That is a franchise-level commitment to a player they clearly believe is a cornerstone up front.
Meanwhile, Sean McVay is not hiding his frustration after Sunday night's loss to Denver. The NFL confirmed to the Rams that the defensive pass interference flag thrown against cornerback Josh Wallace should never have been called. A wrong call on a pivotal play, and Los Angeles is left sitting with a loss they feel was taken from them. That is a tough pill to swallow at any point in the season.
And across the Atlantic, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua kept things surprisingly civil at the London press conference for their December eleventh showdown. The two heavyweights traded smiles instead of shots, but make no mistake, the stakes of this fight could not be higher. Two British legends, one massive night on the horizon.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
