You're locked in to Sports Desk, let's get into it.
College football's playoff picture is shifting fast after a loaded Week four. Florida is clawing into the CFP conversation in a big way, while Texas made a loud SEC statement that the selection committee simply cannot ignore. The Gators and Longhorns both look like legitimate top twelve threats.
Speaking of statements, Oklahoma State rode a trio of North Texas transfers all the way to a forty one to twenty four road win over West Virginia. Quarterback Drew Mestemaker, running back Caleb Hawkins, and receiver Wyatt Young were nearly untouchable from start to finish, and the Cowboys are suddenly one of the more dangerous teams in the Big Twelve.
On the darker side of the ledger, South Carolina defensive end Dylan Stewart threw a punch at an Alabama player during what was already a blowout loss for the Gamecocks. It is two thousand twenty six and things in Columbia are not trending in the right direction. Expect the league office to have something to say about that one very soon.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
