**2 Samuel 8:15** โ€” *"Thus David reigned over all Israel and administered justice and righteousness for all his people."*

Notice what this verse does not say. It does not say David administered justice for the deserving, or righteousness for those who earned it. The covenant reach was *all his people* โ€” the honored and the overlooked alike.

This is the mark of a shepherd-king formed by God's own heart. David had spent years in wilderness obscurity, learning that mercy does not sort by status. When the throne came, that formation showed.

Leadership without righteousness is merely management. But leadership shaped by covenant โ€” where the vulnerable receive the same measure as the powerful โ€” that is something Scripture calls us to testify about and imitate.

Walk with this today: every role you carry, however small, is an opportunity to steward justice the way David did โ€” not selectively, but faithfully, for *all* your people.

Let us reflect on who our "all" truly includes.
