**1 Kings 21:15** โ€” *"Get up and take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, who refused to give it to you for silver. For Naboth is no longer alive, but dead."*

Jezebel did not steal the vineyard herself. She simply removed the obstacle and handed Ahab the deed. This is how corruption often moves โ€” not in one dramatic act, but through proxies, paperwork, and plausible deniability.

Ahab's silence throughout this chapter is its own indictment. He sulked, pouted, and then rose to claim what violence had cleared for him. He never asked how. That willful ignorance is a form of covenant betrayal.

Elijah would meet him in that vineyard. God always does.

Scripture reminds us that what we possess by injustice, we do not truly steward โ€” we merely occupy. And what is occupied without righteousness will one day be required back with interest.

Walk with clean hands into what God has prepared.
