**2 Samuel 14:8** โ€” *"Go home," the king said to the woman, "and I will give orders on your behalf."*

A widow traveled to David with a fabricated story โ€” yet the king's response carried real weight. *Go home. I will give orders on your behalf.* He spoke provision before he understood the full picture.

How often does God move on our behalf before we have fully articulated our need? The shepherd acts for the sheep before the sheep can name its danger.

Scripture reminds us that David, flawed as he was, still bore the image of a covenant king โ€” one whose word could shelter the vulnerable. How much more does our King, seated in perfect wisdom, issue orders on behalf of those who come to Him with trembling and incomplete understanding.

Walk with this today: the throne you approach is not indifferent. Your advocate is already speaking.

*Hebrews 7:25 โ€” "He always lives to intercede for them."*
