In open source AI infrastructure, Red Hat principal engineer Sally O'Malley has released Tank OS, a sandboxing tool for AI agents built on top of the OpenClaw project. It isolates agents in separate containers, locks down credentials, and prevents them from interfering with each other or the underlying host machine — essentially the enterprise safety layer OpenClaw never officially shipped.
Shifting to the courtroom, Elon Musk testified this week that he co-founded OpenAI specifically to prevent what he called a Terminator outcome — a scenario where unchecked AI development leads to catastrophic consequences. The judge overseeing the case took the unusual step of warning both Musk and Sam Altman to stop using social media to escalate their dispute while litigation is ongoing.
