**Acts 22:18** โ€” *"Hurry! Leave Jerusalem quickly, because the people here will not accept your testimony about Me."*

Paul had poured his former life into Jerusalem โ€” his training, his reputation, his zeal. And now the Lord Himself was redirecting him *away* from it. Not as punishment. As stewardship.

There is a particular grief in laboring faithfully in a place that will not receive what you carry. Paul knew it. He lingered in the temple, perhaps hoping the vision was negotiable. It was not.

God does not always call us to convince โ€” He calls us to testify and to walk in obedience when the door closes. The fruitful field is rarely the familiar one.

Sometimes the most courageous act of a steward is releasing the ground they love most, trusting that the Shepherd sees the harvest they cannot.

Let us reflect on where we may be clinging to Jerusalem when the Lord is already pointing toward the road.
