**Acts 17:21** โ€” *"Now all the Athenians and foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing more than hearing and articulating new ideas."*

Luke's aside here is almost wry. Athens โ€” the intellectual crown of the ancient world โ€” had become a city that mistook conversation for conviction.

Paul didn't come to add another idea to their marketplace. He came with a name. A risen Lord. A claim that demanded a response, not merely a debate.

There is a subtle danger in communities โ€” and yes, even in faith circles โ€” where the love of *discussing* truth quietly replaces the commitment to *living* it. The Bereans searched Scripture daily to act on what they found (Acts 17:11). The Athenians searched for the next compelling thought.

Steward what you've already been given before reaching for what's new.

Walk with what Scripture has already made clear in you โ€” and let that be enough to move you forward today.
