**Luke 19:22** โ *"His master replied, 'You wicked servant, I will judge you by your own words. So you knew that I am a harsh man, withdrawing what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow?'"*
The servant confessed his own theology โ and it condemned him.
He believed the master was severe, so he buried the mina rather than steward it. His fear became his excuse, and his excuse became his verdict. The master did not introduce new evidence. He simply held the servant to the logic of his own confession.
This is the weight of stewardship: what we believe about God shapes what we do with what He entrusts to us. A distorted view of God produces a paralyzed life.
Scripture reminds us that He is not a distant creditor waiting to collect โ He is a Father who entrusts, equips, and rejoices over faithfulness.
Walk with that truth, and consider what you have buried.
