**Leviticus 26:10** โ€” *"You will still be eating the old supply of grain when you need to clear it out to make room for the new."*

This is a covenant promise wrapped in a harvest image โ€” storerooms so full that last season's abundance crowds out this season's blessing.

God spoke this to Israel not as poetry, but as covenant arithmetic. Obedience yields such overflow that the steward faces a beautiful problem: where to put what is coming.

Consider the posture this requires. To clear the old grain is not ingratitude โ€” it is *faith*. It is acting on the belief that what God is bringing exceeds what He has already given.

Many of us guard yesterday's provision so tightly we have no room to receive tomorrow's. We dwell in the stored-up rather than the given-forth.

Scripture reminds us: the faithful steward holds abundance with an open hand.

Let us reflect on what we may be clutching โ€” and what grace is waiting at the threshold.
