**Proverbs 7:15** โ€” *"So I came out to meet you; I sought you, and I have found you."*

These words belong to the mouth of folly โ€” and that is precisely what makes them so sobering.

The seductress in Proverbs 7 does not wait passively. She rises, she seeks, she frames her pursuit as devotion. *I came out for you. I found you.* It sounds like covenant language. It echoes the shepherd leaving the ninety-nine. But the destination is destruction, not grace.

Solomon's warning to his son is this: counterfeit love speaks the same words as true love. Wisdom, then, is not merely hearing the right things โ€” it is discerning the source, testing the fruit, walking in the light of God's Word rather than the flattery of the moment.

Proverbs 4:26 counsels us to *"give careful thought to the paths of your feet."*

Let us reflect on what โ€” and who โ€” we allow to find us.
