**Numbers 21:17** — *"Spring up, O well — all of you sing to it!"*
Israel was exhausted, parched, and moving through desert terrain. No dramatic miracle here — just a song sung *to* a well. The people were instructed to sing *before* the water came.
This is the posture of covenant faith: praise preceding provision. Not celebration *after* God moves, but worship that *invites* the movement.
The well was already there, dug by leaders with their staffs (v.18). God had placed the resource in the ground. The singing was Israel's act of expectant stewardship — acknowledging what grace had already prepared beneath the surface.
