**Numbers 21:17** โ *"Spring up, O well โ all of you sing to it!"*
Israel was exhausted, parched, and moving through desert terrain. No dramatic miracle here โ just a song sung *to* a well. The people were instructed to sing *before* the water came.
This is the posture of covenant faith: praise preceding provision. Not celebration *after* God moves, but worship that *invites* the movement.
The well was already there, dug by leaders with their staffs (v.18). God had placed the resource in the ground. The singing was Israel's act of expectant stewardship โ acknowledging what grace had already prepared beneath the surface.
Scripture reminds us that much of what we yearn for has already been placed in the soil of our circumstances. The question is whether we will sing before we see it rise.
Consider the wells in your life that are waiting not for more digging โ but for a song of faithful expectation.
